The eve of her final exams was the first day of filming on "The Comedy Channel" with Glenn Robbins and Marty Sheargold

Since the days of hosting the children's program, "Plucka's Place" - alongside that famous Aussie TV duck - Livinia's on-camera roles have grown in a seemingly short space of time. In 1998, she joined the long-running variety show "Hey Hey It's Saturday" , at the invitation of host, Daryl Somers. Here, Livinia performed weekly in front of a live studio audience, combined with her love of travel, flying out to interview international celebrities for the program. This included Matt Le Blanc, Gary Oldman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Drew Carey, Heather Graham, Martin Sheen, Rob Lowe and Brooke Shields.

During this time, Livinia juggled her Hey Hey commitments with a morning, then drive time shift on Melbourne radio MIX-FM (formerly TT-FM).

By 2000, she was reporting Victoria 's tourism highlights in GTV9's "Postcards". Further, Livinia produced her own stories and, ultimately, hosted the series. This brought her to the attention of the Executive Producer of "That's Melbourne " . Livinia hosted this series and the TV special, " Melbourne - Secrets of the City." Locally, Livinia is well-known as ambassador and “the face of the City of Melbourne”, as she continues to promote on behalf of her home city.

In 2005, she was again on camera with Ed Phillips - her friend and co-host from TT-FM days - as they present “Temptation” weeknights, nationally, on the Nine Network.

Along with “Temptation”, Livinia in 2007 is co-hosting Nine Network’s travel and adventure series, “Things to try before you die.”

All this, and there's the corporate engagements (Livinia regularly undertakes Master of Ceremonies and Guest Presenter roles), as much travel as she can squeeze in - she's visited Japan, China, Africa, and back-packed through America, Europe, Finland and Estonia - as well as being an ambassador for World Vision and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
